Allison holds a B.A. from Brown University, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and an M.B.A. from Fordham University. Before earning her graduate degrees, she trained and performed with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York City.

Allison helps women in all stages of life nurture themselves through the most difficult of circumstances. She has expertise in Women’s Issues including anxiety and depression surrounding infertility, reproductive trauma, miscarriage, pregnancy, new motherhood and postpartum. She also focuses on Early Life Trauma with adults who’ve had traumatic experiences in their youth resulting in adult panic attacks, anxiety, depression and dysfunctional relationships. Additionally, years as a professional dancer lead to her Performance & Sport Therapy work with athletes and those in the performing arts.

Allison spent five years at the Women’s Clinic and Family Counseling Center in Los Angeles and currently has a private practice in Santa Monica. She helps women create an image of the life they’d like to be living and works with them to achieve it through psychodynamic, solution focused, narrative and other therapeutic methodologies.

Allison’s goal is to help clients understand themselves better, reverse unhealthy patterns, gain a sense of inner peace, and feel empowered to move in a new direction.

Allison works with individuals, groups, premarital couples and new parent couples to nourish the soul and ignite the spirit!
